Please remember, if you do NOT qualify for the Federal FMLA protections (e.g., lack of qualifying Duty Time hours and/or failing to meet the definition of “serious health condition”) then you may not be eligible for rights pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, nor would you be able to pursue a complaint via the Dept. of Labor.
