The Savoy Suites Hotel – Enhancements [From Hotel Management]
As we move into the fall, I wanted to make you aware of several enhancements that we’ve completed (or are in the final stages of completing) at the Savoy Suites Hotel over the summer:
Complimentary In-Room Coffee has been added as an amenity in all guestrooms. Now, in addition to complimentary coffee in the Crew Lounge, complimentary coffee is available to all Crew members in their rooms.
Complimentary In-Room Safes are being installed in all guest rooms.
In August, we launched our new restaurant menu which has been met with great success. A copy is available for your review on our website, www.SavoySuites.com. As you know, flight attendants receive a 20% discount on all food & beverage purchased at the hotel.
We’re most excited to share with you that 3 complete floors of guestrooms have been refurbished. This refurbishment includes new furniture, new carpeting and new bathroom amenities including the addition of vanity make-up mirrors in all guestrooms.
Refurbishments will continue in November of 2008 at which time all window treatments (drapes, sheers & blackouts) will be replaced and all guestroom televisions will be upgraded to 42” FLAT PANEL TV’s.
- In conjunction with this refurbishment, we are eliminating all SMOKING ROOMS from the hotel. Please see our attached announcement regarding our SMOKE FREE environments. The conversion of our existing SMOKING rooms to NON SMOKING rooms is in progress and will be completed by September 14, 2008. We’re excited to be expanding our GREEN PROGRAM and providing a smoke free environment to all of our clients.

17 Wright, C JFK
Remarks: When I checked the bed in my roo there were bugs crawling over the pillows.
GRR Ramada Plaza
1195/1018
664 Marovich, B JFK
Remarks: Hotel has an indoor year round water park. Too many children running up and down the hallways all hours of the night. There was also an underage drinking party in the room next door to me, cops came and arrested all the people in the middle of the night. Hotel is too noisy and not enough security to handle the problems.
SFO Doubletree Marriott
8213/1026 239
893 Cooper, B JFK
Remarks: All of the clocks were off by 1 hour. These are the type of clocks that you cannot reset yourself, I had to call maintenance to come and reset clock. Hotel management was made aware but unfortunately for some crews it was too late.
